An ancient evil is unleashed in a small Mississippi town leaving a trail of death and destruction as it passes from host to host. The latest film from Mike Mendez, the man behind the brillaint Big Ass Spider! has a new film out that needs or help to get the distibution it needs. I'm going to to support this project and I think you should as well, it looks like a lot of fun.
Full details can be found here, but some of the perks look amazing, from DVD's, replica props, signed `Boxing Gloves, and lunch with the producers. Lets get behind this and get it off the ground.
Here is why they need our help :-
The good news is that the actual making of the movie is finished. It’s filmed and post production has just been completed.
But theyhave some work to do to make this movie ready to be distributed. This is where they need your help.
They are on Indiegogo to raise money for two reasons:
1) After a movie is finished, there are several technical items that need to be created in order to get the movie out there. This process is called Delivery.
They need to create the Final Audio Mix, items such as the DCP (hard drive used for theatrical exhibition), have the film put through the Quality Control process, and more. They are expensive items, and they have to be done. It isn’t fun or pretty, but it’s a very important part of the process and your help is needed.
2) Lots of demons. Gory, bloody deaths. This movie looks amazing and deserves to be seen on the big screen.
But between cutting a new (and WAY less bloody) trailer for MPAA approval, MPAA fees, insurance, advertising, and the other costs of a theatrical distribution (P&A)
