"Are you afraid of the truth if it doesn't fit into your accepted view of the World?" That's the big question 'Abduct' poses in this Alien Abduction Sci-Fi thriller.
'Who', or indeed 'what' is Alistair Cruel?
When Crystal (Mhairi Calvey: Braveheart, Any Minute Now) flees to a Texas town called 'Fate' she is pursued by 'Alistair Cruel': a sinister 'Man in Black' (played by Hollywood heavyweight Jack O'Halloran: Superman 2), who threatens to destroy anyone who helps Crystal.
'Abduct' ambitiously tackles all of the standard related subject matter for Alien Abduction movies thanks to a script from relative newcomer Philip Daay. Fans of such genre classics as 'Fire in the Sky' will find themselves in familiar territory here and 'The X-Files' fans will no doubt like this not only because of the usual themes of the Alien Abduction genre but because one of the stars is William B. Davis (The 'Smoking Man' in The X-Files), this time however he is Zane McCallister a Texan rancher/paranormal investigator, one of the good guys, whom along with Radio talk-show host Ridley (Mark Arnold: Teen Wolf, Trancers 4, Trancers 5) and a small team of specialists takes on Alistair Cruel and the deadly 'Angelica Dark' (Sienna Guillory: The Time Machine, The Resident Evil Franchise).
Currently in Post-Production 'Abduct' is the latest film from veteran director Ilyas Kaduji.
