A Mountain Walked: Great Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos. Edited by S. T. Joshi.
A Mountain Walked is an oversize anthology with almost 700 pages. S.T. Joshi has selected the best of the reprinted Cthulhu Mythos stories and combined them with over a dozen new works written just for this anthology. This book has over 25 stories, including new stories by Joseph S. Pulver, Sr., Donald Tyson, Cody Goodfellow, Caitlín R. Kiernan, Jonathan Thomas, Laird Barron, Michael Shea, Patrick McGrath, Mark Samuels, Gemma Files, and others. The book also has new artwork by David Ho, John Kenn Mortensen, Drazen Kozjan, Denis Tiani, and Thomas Ott.
The edition is limited to 500 copies for sale. Each copy is signed by Thomas Ligotti, T.E.D. Klein, Laird Barron, Caitlín R. Kiernan, and many others. The signature pages are signed by 25 people and went halfway around the world for signatures. The book is 692 pages. There are several pages of full color artwork, too.
The book is oversize as well, measuring over 7 × 11 inches tall. The book comes in its own clothbound slipcase and has a stunning full color dustjacket by David Ho and the usual goodies: image on the front board, ribbon marker, and head and tail bands in a gorgeous cloth bound Smyth-sewn book. This landmark anthology will surely be known as a classic in its field. Although most of the living contributors signed the book, Michael Shea passed on before the pages reached him. Writers who did not sign the book include Neil Gaiman, T.C. Boyle, and Mark Samuels.
A Beautiful Madness by Lee Thompson
A Texas Senator and his wife go missing... On the same day, their son is slaughtered by an enigmatic killer on the lawn of ex-Governor Edward Wood's residence. Sammy, Wood's drug dealing son, suspects his father of the crime. After all, his old man snapped once before and crippled his wife with a lead pipe. But there's something more to these events... something deeper and festering just beneath the surface...
In direct opposition to Homicide Detective Jim Thompson, Sammy begins an investigation of his own, searching for the truth in a labyrinth of lies, deception, depravity and violence that drags him deeper into darkness and mayhem with each step. And in doing so, brings them all into the sights of an elusive and horrifying killer who may not be what he seems.
A brutal killer on a rampage of carnage... a hardened detective on the brink... an antihero from the shadows... a terrifying mystery that could destroy them all...
A BEAUTIFUL MADNESS, the harrowing new novel of dark crime and suspense from Lee Thompson.
Blackout by Tim Curran

First come the flashing lights, then the heavy rains, high winds, and finally a total blackout. But that's only the beginning...
When the whipping black tentacles fall from the sky and begin snatching people at random, the denizens of Piccamore Way must discover the terrifying truth of what these beings have planned for the human race.
We Are Completely Fine by Daryl Gregory
Harrison is the Monster Detective, a storybook hero. Now he’s in his mid-thirties and spends most of his time not sleeping.
Stan became a minor celebrity after being partially eaten by cannibals. Barbara is haunted by the messages carved upon her bones. Greta may or may not be a mass-murdering arsonist. And for some reason, Martin never takes off his sunglasses.
Unsurprisingly, no one believes their horrific tales, until they are sought out by psychotherapist Dr. Jan Sayer. What happens when these ostensibly-insane outcasts form a support group? Together they must discover which monsters they face are within and which are lurking in plain sight.
