Nightshade Publications Announces Thrilling Second Official Release With If It Bleeds by Darryl Dawson.
The new publishing house Nightshade Publications, a wing of Nightshade Productions and the Nightshade Vampire Boutique, has announced it’s second release for 2014. If It Bleeds by Darryl Dawson is a traditional supernatural horror novel that promises to grip the reader with a twisted darkness reminiscent of Clive Barker’s earlier work.
In addition to If It Bleeds, Darryl Dawson was a selected author for the short horror story collection, The Crawlspace. He has also contributed to the Dark Bits anthology (Apokrupha Press) and is the author of the compilation “Cold Sweat.” He is a Los Angeles native currently living in Phoenix, Arizona. If It Bleeds is Dawson’s second novel.
SYNOPSIS: Television is killing us. A wave of violence is sweeping across the city, triggered by subliminal messages in local TV broadcasts. And those messages are more than suggestion–they are living demons corrupting the souls of unsuspecting viewers, driving them into insane rampages of cannibalism that no one can stop. A video journalist named Moses Mayborne sees the changes first-hand in his wife, and now he must rescue her and their child, or get swept up in the carnage.
If It Bleeds is currently available for pre-order at a discounted price of only $6.99 for the paperback through the Nightshade Vampire Boutique. All pre-orders will also receive a FREE PDF ebook version. The official release date for If It Bleeds is January 10, 2014.
